So with no expansion it seems pretty clear to me that Boren started this for more money; and in the end I think he got it. What this means for K-State is the school has 8 years or so to boost football and academics. I feel beefing up efforts in both of those arenas should be top priority from today onward to have any chance of landing in a P5 (then 4) conference when the GOR is done and the Big 12 is dead. If not then it'll be fun taking on Colorado State and Wyoming in the Mountain West.
