16 REALISTIC GOALS FOR REASONABLE SUCCESS

Commitment … to common goals to reach potential

Unselfishness … there is no ‘I’ in TEAM, but there is in SCRUTINY from fans

Unity … come together as never before, there are a lot of armchair quarterbacks out there

Improvenearly every day as a player because more talented targets committed elsewhere

Be Tough … mentally and physically, at times you will be overmatched and second guessed

Self-Discipline ... do it right, don’t accept less, except for a few delay of game penalties

Great Effort . . .it will get you playing time over talent

Enthusiasm . . . will get you through the occasional poor game plans and play calls

Eliminate most Mistakes don’t beat yourself more than a couple times each game, nobody’s perfect

Never Give Up … never … never … never because you will face players/teams that are already more talented

Don’t Accept Losing but recognize that you will… it will help you avoid disappointment and prepare you for the rest of your life

Self-Limitations expect more of yourself but realize that even that won’t be enough at times

Expect To Win Except Against Really Talented Teams … and truly believe we will at least often enough to be bowl eligible in most years and a contender every so often

Strive for Consistency your very, very best most of the time, nobody’s perfect

Leadership in theory at least, everyone can set the example

Responsibility You are responsible for your own performance and execution will sometimes have to prevail over game plan
