I haven`t seen much of spring training because the Royals are playing mostly minor leaguers at this point. What I have noticed is that they have been developing, either through the minors, free agency and giving a lot of former good pitchers another try. Tomorrow`s game should be interesting from a pitching perspective because Gee will be throwing again. He looked good on his first outing. I think I will go out early and watch all the minor leaguers on the back diamonds rather than pay $40 to see them play 5 innings in the main game. Several outfielders look to be about ready to join the big club. I am talking about Bonifacio and Martinez. Eibner is showing a lot of patience as he has 6 bb`s already. Last spring he hit 6 home runs. I wouldn`t be surprised for the Royals to make a trade, they have a lot of spare parts, mostly middle infielders. It remains to be seen if other teams value these guys as highly as the Royals do.
