I won't discuss the play calling/game management. We all know it was crap, and everything I wanted to say about it has already been said by someone else. Maybe this has, too, but I don't care. It is absolute bullshit that the players are sent out to answer to the media, while the assistant coaches, grown ass men who are making hundreds of thousands of dollars, hide behind the head coach. Particularly in a situation like this one, where the coaches were a big reason why we lost. I understand his reasoning, but it is absolute bullshit that Matt McCrane has to go before a bunch of reporters and apologize for missing a kick, but the guy who put him in that position is nowhere to be found. I don't put all the blame on the coaches; they can't complete Jesse's passes for him. But for Christ's sake. Isn't "responsibility" one of the 16 goals? How about some effing accountability?
