So many great quotes from former and current players and opposing coaches, including this from Glen Mason:
“When I look at Bill Snyder, and I think I had as close a look at (K-State’s rise) as anybody,’’ Mason said, “there were a lot of coaches born on third base and they think they hit a triple. There are a lot of programs guys go to where everybody has won, and all of a sudden they’re anointed as God’s gift to coaching.
“But Bill built that up from the ground floor, in every way, shape and form. They didn’t have players, they didn’t have facilities, all they had was a lot of apathy. I tell everybody when I’m traveling that nobody in the history of college football has done a better job of building a program than Bill Snyder. Period. End of story. ... If Bill Snyder wasn’t in there, it wouldn’t be a Hall of Fame.’’
At first I thought today's edition looked like a farewell article.....but it coincides with Tuesday's HOF activities.
