When Mawein and Snead sat until half with 2 fouls each, OU made their only run. They were always in the right place to help on defense and when they were in the bench, it was a stark contrast as their replacements were constantly unable to provide the same level of court awareness defensively. OU was aware of this as they attacked those areas as soon as they were out or at least were finding success in those openings that hadn’t been there until we subbed.
