There's a culture of disconnect in the men's basketball program. I once worked in a company for 12 years where the CEO and our location manager were often gone, out of town, and it seemed like on every trip opportunity they could go on. For that reason company morale and production were not good. And the company's bottom line suffered (profit and loss) bigtime. We all know Coach Weber travels alot. Recruiting is important. Has to be a balance. When the cats away the mice will play. There can be other reasons, personality differences, generation gap, etc. Fitz has also talked about (in his podcasts) the "micromanagement" style Coach uses in games. It just doesn't work. You can't coach "on the fly." Unfortunately I'm afraid the disconnect also carries over into the student body and a significant part of the fanbase. Like him or not, support him or not, imho KSTATE basketball is in a very tough position right now. I'm hoping for the BEST! Whatever that may be!
