I live in Wichita and deal with a lot of the new wave WSU fans. What I hear too often is "Who do you think you can get thats better then Weber?"
Unfortunately, I think our admins and some of our fans are of the same opinion. He's not going to win big but he wont lose like Wooly did. We are probably going to give him 9 years, maybe 10 to show just how mediocre he is. He will be here next year for year 7 and have a veteran group to do enough for year 8. year 8 will have a young team excuse which will lead to year 9. At least 9 years of BW and we may not see another tourney win in that time.
i refuse to believe he is the best we can do. If we have that loser mentality then we deserve him.
