I feel like there are three “Fork in the Road” games in the Big 12 this weekend.
The winner will gain confidence and momentum, whereas the loser will have to regroup. For some teams that had high expectations coming into the season, a loss could produce self-doubt and finger pointing.

1) Texas at Oklahoma State:
The Horn’s big win over ND, doesn’t look so big today and losing to CAL was weak.
Okie State has been less than impressive despite returning a large number of starters from a year ago.
The POKES are favored by 2.5.
52/48 -- OSU

2) Oklahoma at TCU:
OU has already dropped two games, albeit against two very good football games.
TCU should not have lost to Arkansas.
I have a feeling that OU is going to win this game, then again, Mayfield could continue to make mental mistakes.
OU favored by 3.5
55/45 – OU

3) K-State at WV:
Sometimes I become worried when I have too much confidence about K-State winning, which is the case this week. The good news, K-State still has a chip on their shoulder and I believe the players have healthy confidence versus over confidence.
WV’s defense is suspect, particularly against the run. K-State’s d-secondary won’t necessarily shut down WV’s passing game, but should slow it down. K-State needs to pressure and contain WV’s QB. Of course turnovers always play a huge role in a game.
WV favored by 3.0
65/35 KSU

Baylor at Iowa State:
This game could be a little closer than most people think. But Baylor is not San Jose State. The Bears pull away in the second half.
Baylor favored by 17.
75/25 – Baylor

ku at Texas Tech:
You want to talk about BAD TV on a Thursday Night.

This game could be flat embarrassing for the Big 12…LOL.
I wonder if the Big 12 commissioner has asked Tech not to beat ku by more than 40 points.
Who knows, maybe the tech players will be so over confident that they forget to properly prepare and ku hangs around for a while.
Tech favored by 29
97/3 – TT
