After the game, I headed into JoCo to grab something at Costco. Stopped at a Firehouse Subs in Overland Park.
These guys are short staffed and apparently just packed a $1500 catering order with two people. I was chatting with the cashier a bit and he asked me for my name for the order:
Me: "Tyler"
Him: "Hey, that's my name, too. Pretty good name if you ask me - except I'm a big KU fan."
Me: "Yeah, the game just ended."
Him: "Oh, who won? We've been busy and I haven't looked."
Me: "K-State. 35-10."
Him: "Football or basketball?"
Me: *confused stare* "Uh... football..."
Him: "Oh, that's not surprising then. We're terrible in football."
Guys, I can't get this out of my head. There's so much I can't process.
