I would suggest that the rule be altered slightly. If a goal tending call is made and later reviewed to not be goal tending then the following must be done: 1. If the team that committed the goal tending call also rebounds the ball then the points are taken away. 2. If the team who had the shot goal tended rebounds the ball then the points remain.
My reasoning is that the whistle stops play. Twice we have had points taken away when we rebounded the ball and could have scored except for the stoppage of play. The alternative is to award a second possession or simply not to allow a later review.
