golfed with a jayhawk yesterday. the guy played basketball there and is a good guy (well, he played there a long time ago. he was probably a dick when he first got out). Anyway, he brought up football, and knowing i'm a k-stater, asked me about the game Saturday. Despite the fact that we both live 500 miles from KS, he knew the outcome, who else we had played, and a few other tidbits about KSU this year, but when it was his turn, he didn't know the name of the KU coach or where he came from. I don't say that to belittle this guy at all. It just speaks to the state of that program. Hopefully, never get to that point again for us!
