I believe the announced crowd was just over 8,000 (65% full - about right).
Given a late starting mid-week game with bad weather looming = a decent crowd.
Tough defense, not so good offense... but the CATS found a way to win in the final minutes = a good sign.
Stokes had a horrible game (zero assists & 4 TOs = Ouch).
I know some don't like Sneed shooting 3s (he's in a shooting slump), but if K-State is going to do good things, the CATS need Xavier to be a 3 point threat (hopefully Xavier will shoot himself out of his slump... sooner rather than later...fingers crossed).
There just wasn't much to like about the offense tonight, but that was a sweet alley - oop play that ignited the crowd.
Shaka Smart ???
Shaka obviously does not stress crashing the offensive boards... shoot + miss = run back on D, no attempt to get offensive rebounds... unless the shot is a missed lay-up.
I personally believe Texas is toast (not pun attended)... I don't see the Horns beating WV or ku.
GO STATE !
