My son received the Air Force ROTC scholarship earlier this year and enrolled at KSU. With his other scholarships everything was going to be paid for! Then we got the news they rescinded his scholarship because he is an arthritis gene carrier and they don’t believe he would be able to carry out his responsibilities to the Air Force. He has not been diagnosed with any arthritis diseases. Has anyone had this experience before with the military? We’re extremely disappointed, he wants to go to KState badly and already joined a fraternity. It’s going to be very hard for us and him to make up the cost difference. Any suggestions?
