K-State is going to beat Baylor tomorrow.
I watched most of the Baylor - OU game and I never felt like the game was in question.
OU jumped out to a 21 to 0 lead... the Bears scored the 10 points to close out the first half, but then OU scored two TDs to start the 3rd quarter = game over.
K-State still had a small chance with over 12 minutes left in the game, down two TDs 17 -31.
Both Baylor and K-State had their starting QBs knocked out of the game.
For K-State, Ertz was just starting to settle in and play better.
Seth Russell was having his worst game of the season when he got knocked out (Baylor did not lose to OU because Russell got knocked out).
Ertz was leading the CATS in rushing when he got knocked out of the game (40 yards - 5.7) and had completed 57% of his passes despite a slow start. Hubener ended up with -11 yards rushing with 52% completion rate.
Before playing OU, Baylor got completely destroyed by TCU (62 to 22 = OUCH).
Baylor only gave up 431 rushing yards against TCU.... Double OUCH.
K-State has a better rushing attack than TCU (well, marginally better = K-State has #36 rushing offense, TCU # 43).
To take this another step, before going to Baylor and trouncing the BEARS, TCU lost by 3 points against Texas Tech (at Fort Worth). Lost by 24 points againt West Virginia (in Morgan Town). And the Frogs beat Kansas by 1 point. In Short, the Frogs weren't exactly tearing things up before heading to Waco.
Before playing OU & TCU, Baylor lost to Texas.
K-State let Texas come back to make the game interesting (due to turnovers), but had Charles Jones not fumbled as he crossed the goal-line, Texas would have completely folded their tents.
Yes, Baylor beat Okie State early in the season, whereas K-State lost to Okie State (a game that K-State could have easily won). I have a feeling if Okie State was to play Baylor today, the Pokes would win by 14 or more points.
Furthermore:
Baylor lost their starting QB and will be starting a true freshman. And luckily for K-State, the CATS have some film on the freshman from the OU game (plus some minor playing time from earlier in the season).
Add the fact that K-State has had a bye week. Given the circumstances, the bye week was huge for the CATS. An extra week for players to get healthy and to recharge mentally. An extra week to shake off a tough tough loss.
I believe the Legend is bringing a hungry group of WildCats to Waco and the CATS will play their best and most complete game of the season.

Baylor -17
** It will be fitting for the Legend to notch his 200th win against ku next week.
