I've been critical this season (and I make no apologies). I am usually one that can see both sides of an issue, so I want to end this football season with thanks.
We may have fallen short of pre-season expectations but I never want to take for granted a winning season with a bowl game. I am truly grateful for Bill. He's all I've ever known as a KSTATE fan. I am resigned to chill out while he goes through his decision process.
Thanks to every single player on the roster. Most of them will not see their efforts pay dividends at the next level, yet they put their bodies on the line, all for a sport of entertainment. They carry the weight of an entire fan base's expectations all the while carrying the weight of going to school and making decisions about their future . I hope the bowl win was a moment for them to celebrate and be proud of their accomplishments. I hope it was a trip full of memories that will last a lifetime.
