After being tipped to this earlier this afternoon, I've now heard collaborating stories from three different sources about the likelihood that Glenn Gronkowski will not return to Kansas State following the Liberty Bowl.
Now, there's no way to confirm this 100% without talking to Glenn directly (which I'm not permitted to do aside from the availability K-State provides) or his family (which isn't the easiest route in the world given they're the Gronkowski's), but it's pretty clear the details are slowly spreading and where there's smoke there's usually fire.
I won't speculate on this too much more considering it remains a rumor without anything concrete, but from what I've gathered Glenn could pursue what NFL interest exists for his talents following the bowl game and if that doesn't feel right or meet expectations, the youngest Gronk could return closer to home and work, possibly for his father or in some other aspect using his business degree.
Anyway, should we get any further clarification on this I'll pass it along but I believe it's worth monitoring at the very least.
