...and would love some GPC opinions on this topic. The conversation started out about difference in the "warm up" game ticket prices for K-State and KU basketball. Cheapo seats in the rafters at Allen for one of those games against a D2 team start at $40. They will be much less at the Octagon.
We talked supply and demand, and I pointed out that I had no doubt that by percentage, we would have way more fans for a basketball game in MHK than there are fans for a KU football game (except of course when we play in that dump). My friend, who isn't a K-Stater, thought we might be able to win that argument with numbers straight up (i.e. more fans for a basketball game in MHK than a football game in Lawrence).
