So, when the news of the new management occurred, I succumbed to the pack think and canceled the auto-renew on my Rivals membership. (BTW, a painful process).
I wasn't going to be fooled when they offered me steep discounts (50% off) to stay, the herd was on the move!
Funny thing was as I stuck around "riding things out", I found myself on the site much more often. Not necessarily posting much, but enjoying the celebration of the wins, the moaning when we lost, but mainly the camaraderie that had been missing from the board for a number of years. I credit that to the KSO team who has been very engaged and professional during the whole process, as well as delivering great content.
So, yesterday, when I saw the "Subscribe for a year and get the gift card" deal, I thought it was time to make it official and fire the commitment back up. But as I clicked through, I saw I wasn't eligible.
Quickly realized, I really didn't care and enabled the auto-renew anyways. I had been paying full freight for years now and was rarely hitting the site except for big news days. Getting much more *value* than I had in a long time.
Anyway, just wanted to thank you guys and let you know I appreciate how you guys run your business.
