Excited for this guy. Bill Snyder and Ertz's K-State teammates suggest that he's knowledgeable. Just talking with him for a little bit today seemed like he really has a good head on his shoulders and he's plenty eager to step onto the field.
Dominique Heath said they've bonded and spend time throwing after practice. Didn't fit this part into my story but I loved what Heath said when I told him that K-State fans really hadn't seen Jesse Ertz throw a football yet. Heath smiled.
"Oh, he can throw," he said. "He throws a nice ball. He throws a pretty ball, and you all are going to see that on Saturday."
