The way to show administrative and coach/player commitment to the basketball program isn't by going to a ridiculous, podunk postseason tournament for losers where you actually have to pay a participation fee to play... what an absolute joke.
Rather, how about this kind of commitment. Lets play the kind of basketball during the frickin' season that makes sure we aren't stuck with this embarrassment....like not losing five conference games at home, or finishing eighth of ten conference teams in the standings, or losing every game on the road with the exception of one against the worst team in the league, or, instead of showing improvement, actually getting WORSE as the season progressed.
Can't believe you guys are carrying on about a lack of commitment to basketball because Currie actually did the right thing and nixed this charade. Legitimate post season play is earned and this program was far from earning anything this year.
