HOF Wrestling Coach and KSU Alum Passes

Gus Garcia, a wrestling 3 time letter winner at KSU from 1959-63 and legendary HS wrestling coach at Atwood and Augusta, winning state championships at both, passed away today. He was 81. He was also integral in pushing the club wrestling program forward to where it is today. Gus always got kids to perform at a level higher than they imagined they could do. A proud Wildcat alum.
