Let's assume we win our last game and end up 17-14 for regular season. Now we had 3 close losses of 3 points or less. If we had found a way to win those 3, we would be 20-11 and in the NCAA tourney, most likely. For my part, I still want to be better than that, because even at 20-11 we were clearly behind KU, ISU, and Baylor and I want to be in competition with the top group in the Big 12. However, that being said, would be feeling differently about the whole situation had we managed to win those 3 close games? Are we closer than we think to being an NCAA team?
