We just visited the Olympic training center in Colorado Springs. My wife loves the Olympics, I generally have little to no interest. But I sit in amazement wondering how in the world a dangerous place for our athletes like Rio gets awarded the Olympics. While I wish no ill will or harm on the US athletes, you know that some of these competitors are going to fall ill. Contamination and bacterial levels at 1.7 Million times higher then considered worrisome in the US and Europe? Granted we get carried away in this country with our anti-bacterial craze, this is clearly a very dangerous place to have these Games. How in the world did the IOC allow something like this to happen?
