First off, Texas did KSU no favors beating OU yesterday. Will OU come into this game very motivated after a loss? Becuase of the loss more than likely. The big questions will center on how KSU approaches this game mentally. If KSU does not play motivated there is very distinct possibility of a blow-out loss.

OU Offense--Mayfield and the OU WR (especially Sheppard) are the strengths of this team. Mayfield with a good arm and rarely throws ill advised passes. OU running backs are good but unfortunately for OU the offensive line is terrible. OU getting few holes to run and pass blocking is very below average. Luckily for OU, Mayfield does exhibit good pocket presence and has the tendency to run quickly. And he has had to run a vast majority of the time this year. If KSU can control the line of scrimmage and get pressure on OU without having Mayfield scramble for huge gains this offense can be slowed.

OU DEFENSE--Strength of this defense lies with the LBs (especially Striker). DC Stoops still with tendency to bring the heat more than he really should. Look for this to continue. Can KSU take advantage of this. D-line very pedestrian for an OU team. KSU will have their shots if they can neutralize the line of scrimmage and pick up blitz packages.
