A question about forward passes for referees:
At last night's JV game at Rock Creek vs. Clay Center, the Clay QB had a pass over the middle batted into the air and back to him by a rushing LB in the backfield. The QB caught the ball and proceeded to throw another forward pass to the left flat. I thought that should have been flagged for an illegal forward pass, but no flag... Am I missing something here? TIA
