I don't get the whole idea of not wanting to follow Snyder the "legend"

historically, if you look at the coach that follows a legend, then it does end badly for that coach & university: OU replacing Switzer, Florida replacing Spurrier, UT replacing Fulmer & Texas replacing Brown. But ksu is not those teams/university's & ksu fans expectations are much lower than those schools. Schools like those & Ohio state, Michigan, Bama, they all expect to play for a national championship every year. Then when it continues to not happen, it's time to look for a new coach. I truly don't feel that this is the case at KSU.

THe majority of KSU fans still remember the 70's & 80's, somthey know how bad it can be. Therefore, KSU fans don't expect to compete for a national championship every year. My expectations are 7 - 9 wins every year, obviously go,to,a bowl game every year, every 3 or 4 years, compete for a conference championship & if the ball bounces our way (like in 2012) be in the talk for a national championship every 10 years. Now if & when that doesn't happen, then I won't demand a change of coaches. I'll take the fun ride for what it is/was & hopefully enjoy a New Year's Day bowl game.

But what I don't understand is what is wrong with following Snyder? This isn't the late 90's or early 2000's when ksu was as good as anyone. Hell, there are freshman at ksu that weren't even born in 1998. They have ZERO recollection of that year.

So it's not like Snyder is really at his best & top of his game right now. For the 2nd season out of 3, ksu is struggling to make it to .500 & qualify for a bowl. KSU has won 2 bowl games since they beat ASU in the holiday bowl back in 2002. Think about that for a minute!!

Spradcat has mentioned it many times (rightfully so) that ksu has spent a QUARTER OF A BILLIN DOLLARS on the football field. Why wouldn't you want to take advantage of that & the fan support. We aren't Texas fans that require national championships
