It is now impossible for there to be enough 6 win teams to fill all of the bowl spots. There are going to be at least 2 5 win teams that get bowl berths. If APR is used to determine what 5 bid teams get the bid, it will be:
K-State, Nebraska, Missouri, San Jose State, Minnesota, Illinois, South Alabama, and Georgia State, in that order.
My question is whether you want to be a 5 win bowl team. I would normally say "hell no" but we really need the extra practice and player development time. It will also keep our (short) bowl streak alive.
