I was thinking today about how nice it would be to beat ku and be able to have bragging rights for a while against the ku faithful, and I realized that I don’t ever expect to win BIG. We haven’t destroyed ku in decades. Sure we have had a couple wins when they were ranked high and had that 16-point win at home a few years ago, but I want to have one of those games where we drop an upper decker on their head. I want a game that is so far out of reach that the students lose the urge to storm the court, and our walk ons register meaningful minutes. I want to hear the tear drops from Lawrence from miles away like a spring rain.
