I want great things for the school I grew up rooting for and I got my degree from. I know people on this board always dismiss it as a KU saying but we have never won a team national championship let alone one in the relevant sports. Don't you want that to change? I do, but I honestly do not see that as a possibility under either of our current coaching staff. Under Snyder 1.0 it absolutely was possible, now not so much. The current staff does not have the ability to bring in the athletes necessary to reach that level, and its starting to look like their coaching is slipping as well. I truly believe Snyder came back to only "calm the waters" and he has done that. He has put us in a place where we have great facilities, and we have enough national respect to be competitive and relevent. He has put us in a place where we can possibly attract a coach that may take us to that next level, and we will forever be grateful for that beautiful 76 year old man.
Shouldn't we strive for that? Or should we accept being the overachieving farm boys that with a little luck and a wizard coach may compete for a Big 12 title but probably nothing more. I know what I want
