is this finish to the season better or worse than you thought it would be after having the second highest team turnover in D1, with 10 new players?
I didn't think we would get to 20 wins when I thought about this current season at the end of last season and all fo the trouble. But after going 10-2 non con, leading N. Car. by 8 with 3 to go, and losing to a fairly good T A&M team on the road, I thought we would get to 18 or 19 wins through conference. Part of that was beating TCU, Tex T. and Okie State for 5 or 6 of those and then knocking off 2, 3 or even 4 of the others.
I am disappointed in the end, but primarily because I felt we did so surprisingly well in the non con with all of the turmoil from last year.
If we could find the right coach to move to, I would be fine with moving on from Weber. But, I have always believed Weber would be back, so I saw know real point in running him down. I still hope he can get it turned around if he is back for next season, I want K State to win and I don't know that it matters who is leading those wins. I feel like his recruiting has been pretty decent, there is talent there......but in the end, with all of the turnover and turmoil from last season, did you really think we would be much better than this? Not saying I like it, but isn't really reality?
