There is NO REASON for any football player, good or bad, to go to KU. But in the last few days, they have a WR transfer from Alabama, a DT from Alabama, and a 5 star kicker. I think they have commitments from at least a couple 4 stars already.
Where are our coaches? We have no 4 stars and no big time transfers (unless you count Northern Illinois as big time). Like it or not, they are getting better prospects than we are.
Yes, I know....we find diamonds in the rough and we coach them up like no other. But wouldn't it be nice to start out with better talent to coach up?
When KU adds a 4 or 5 star talent to a D line and benches a piece of crap---they get better in a hurry. How long till they catch up? A while, but why are we coasting while they hustle?
