This was his first start, on the road, first game of the year, playing possibly the best D-line he will face all year & coming off of another ACL injury. I think we all probably would've felt better about Ertz at QB if KSU had a couple of easy games that they won before playing Stanford. Having an off week this week, then have two easy games at home will give him a lot of confidence.
Hubener on the other hand, I'm sorry but he is not a D-1 QB. I think that this says a lot about the KSU coaches if Delton is still not ready to replace Hubener on the depth chart. I believe that Delton graduated early so that he could go thru spring practice. He is basically on his 2.5 year, although he was hurt all of last season.
If Ertz goes down again this year, then KSU is screwed because Hubener is just not a D-1 QB & Delton isn't good enough to replace him
