I was "ushered out" for too many critical interactions on the board with the GPC staff. Having had a week or so to think about it, I completely understand why he felt he needed to take that action. I don't fully agree with it--especially since it came abruptly, but, this is his business, it's his call, and I was too critical, too often, of GPC staff. Should Tim decide I can stay (for now), he has my commitment that I will not repeat that mistake. I hope he will have a change of heart, after reflection, just as I have. I hope he will also consider keeping ARM (should ARM want to stick around).
The thread where people were comparing their start date is what prompted me to want to post, and then I saw Ugly's post and thought...hmm....
Truth is, this place, for many (most) of us is a decade-plus long habit...and it's not easy to break, even when the owner tells you that you can't come back.
Should Tim decide to restore the ban that the new board accidentally lifted, I wish you all well.
