its been a long time since I've been here in Lincoln, NE. I'm here today and staying the night.
A couple things that really stand out to me.
Big 12 wiffed hard on letting UNL go. The city is impressive, campus is very nice, and facilities are OMG... I'm sitting outside of memorial stadium right now and in awe.
The town is very pro Big 10 from the looks. Plenty of flags of other big 10 schools in the area on businesses and bars. I haven't talked with anybody yet today but I'm sure I will.
I will say that spending some time in omaha yesterday some fans were a little upset with who Nebraska plays. They do miss OU, Texas and Kansas state games every year. They even brought up they miss the hatred of Colorado.
All in all I can see why a kid would come here. Big 12 and Texas really screwed the pooch
