and gratitude in the midst of all the uncertainty and acrimony, wanted to give a list of what I'm thankful for KSO style....
1. First, thankful for this website. What else would I do to burn hours of my free time and procrastinate at work? Downside my wife thinks I'm cheating on her and my kids are mumbling they don't know who their dad is.
2. Thankful for this message board and all its posters. The banter, the wit, the insight, the dysfunction, it is all truly glorious. From @jarjarbinks18 to @aggieville_08 we cover a wide wide spectrum of POV's and opinions.
3. Thankful for combo threads. While not perfect, still helps me not to read the same thing over in 50 different threads.
4. Thankful for technology, for without, wouldn't get to experience all the JIF's, TIF's, JPEGS, MPEGS, MEMES and all other various file extensions that bring hilarious visuals, amazing photoshop jobs and the appreciation of beautiful women.
5. Thankful for our dominance over KU in football and the dysfunction of their program for the last 20+ years. It makes living in Lawrence for all that time, simply bearable.
6. Thankful for the World Forum, to keep all that horseshit contained in one place and for the monitoring of it here when it begins to leak out.
7. Thankful for orthopedic boots because we wouldn't have a basketball program without them.
8. Thankful for all the inside information provided by posters on this board. Especially @TX as he makes me seem a lot smarter and connected than I am when I talk to my friends that aren't on this site.
9. Thankful for beer. For giving me inspiration when I do pound out a post.
10. Thankful for mobile phones as it allows for ability to post anytime/anywhere including lying in my bed before I pass out.
11. Thankful for KSO get togethers. Only been to one but hey still pretty cool.
12. Thankful for Player X. Your insight and contributions. Plus, what a cool moniker. Man of mystery you are.
13. Thankful for Coffee with Chris. To get the insight in bball program. Hope fball can return the favor one day.
14. Thankful for KSO show. Entertainment on this site comes in a variety of forms.
15. Thankful for @Derek Young , @Natalee Hall and @Matt Hall for running this shin dig. You all do a great job and until you all were in charge, didn't even realize what I was missing and how I had been getting ripped off for the last several years.
16. Last but certainly not least and in honor of the 16 Goals and Bill Snyder, thankful for him coming to KSU, giving us the ride of our lives. Giving us something to do on Saturdays. Giving us pride in our University. Giving us some of the best memories we have all had whether its a tailgate, game or bowl experience. Regardless of all the other stuff and what's happened of late, we can all agree we had a legend among us and truly appreciate all he has brought to the state of Kansas, Manhattan and our lives.
