Just used the bank drive-thru and as usual went past 3 cars in the lane next to the window while the auxiliary lane was empty. I was finished and on my way at the same time the line next moved. Anyone know why so many people avoid the auxiliary lane? Do they need the closer interaction with the teller even though they are still communicating thru a microphone and speaker? Are they afraid the vacuum tube will malfunction and they will lose something of value? Something else?
