In tonight's Mercury Schulz says the biggest thing that drew him to Washington State is that he will be the president that leads the opening of WSU's new Medical School. The past long standing president had been working for years to get their BOR's approval for a second medical school in Washington and he got approval last year right before he died of cancer. Schulz will now be the guy that leads the opening and development of that new school. I'm sure that is something that attracts people to want to become university presidents.
