he commented that cook was much much more effective than hubener. That's not earth shattering news obviously but when the opposing head coach acknowledges it it's painfully obvious. I don't mean this as a knock on joe. He was put in a tough spot this year. But it's so so clear that we have limitations with him back there. Considering what we had to work with this year, I'm of the opinion that 6-6 is pretty decent. Yes we should have lost against ISU and KU is not a D1 team but we were also a pube away from beating OSU and/or TCU, both of which are very very good teams. We had fourth and 9 to win against OSU and I think we beat TCU if burton doesn't drop that pass. One or both of those games go the other way and we are trying to figure out what else we can name after our coach.
All of this is to say this year was not great but gratifying at the end because we fought for and earned a decent bowl game and I think our team and seniors especially will feel good about how they fought through some Chit and made the best of a tough situation.
