It's been so long since I've seen it, I was struck by what strong, direct leadership looked like
It gave the world an opportunity, in a unique way to see the US visually, and vocally support Israel in a way that needed to be done. oh, and congress is "lead" and in large measure made up of a bunch of self serving pussies with no leader. Maybe this will steel the backbone of the R leadership just a little.
The most important part: what will the net result of the speech be?
After watching him in action for more than 6 years, it's clear to me that we have a small, petulant, immature and narcissistic president. He's angry right now. He's been upstaged, made to look naïve and weak, and someone besides him was getting the cheers.
THIS will lead to a deal, at any cost to the US and Israel to be done. You watch, he will show Netanyahu who's boss, and if he can get his way the world will become less safe because of it
What Netanyahu did was in a subtle way was to declare war in Iran, if this deal is struck , he's reserved the right, to cheers in congress to end the deal by force.
