Most of you remember Zach Thomas who played for the Dolphins. His brother Bart and I are good friends. Bart's son Ty is being recruited to play safety by a number of schools. KSU is one of those schools. Ty really likes KSU as he has another uncle on his mom's side that graduated from KSU. Anyway, I was talking to Bart Wednesday and he said that he has been corresponding with one of the coaches. He told the coach that Ty would love to have an offer from KSU. The coach told him that Snyder would not let him offer a scholarship because he's committed to OSU. Coach told Bart that they do not like to do that against an in conference team!
My comment to Bart was that OSU or anyone else for that matter would not extend us that same courtesy. Just passing along tidbits that could explain some of our struggles in recruiting.
