Had we given in to Snyder when he started this Sean business we would either:
1) Have better results if Sean were actually successful in separating the wheat from the chaff of what actually works (and what holds us back) from his dad's processes. (unlikely, IMO, because dad would be looking over his shoulder constantly)
2) Be in a position by now to move on after Sean has failed.
As is, we are in limbo where Bill Snyder knows no one is ready to guarantee Sean a role (let alone the lead role) going forward so he's stubbornly holding on thinking he and Sean will change that situation.
