I read Jake Trotter's piece on whether Nubbie should come back to the Big XII...

So I was curious about their schedule this year and wondered if in year 5 of their Big 10 experiment, if they would rather play their old Big XII schedule or their new Big 10 schedule.
Had Nubbie stayed in the Big XII and not started the power conference realignment fiasco, their rotation would have been:
Texas, Texas A&M, Okie St, Iowa St, KU, K-State, Mizzou, and CU (T-Day)
Their Big 10 schedule this year is:
Illinois, Wisky, Minn, NW, Purdue, Mich St, Rutgers, and Iowa (T-Day, playing for the Heroes Trophy provided by Hy-Vee)
What I realized was that I don't give a crap about Nubbie anymore. The team that I used to circle as "THE GAME" each year has now faded into obscurity. I can't even tell you the name of their head coach, I just know that he is in his 60's and he came from an average Oregon St program.
Ohio St, Michigan, and the BTN are laughing all of the way to the 'content' bank as they pat their junior member on the back (Nubbie doesn't get 'full' revenue sharing until 2017).
Nubbie = IRRELEVANT
