Is Bill hitting the road in recruiting

Because he knows that he was always able to coach kids up that have work ethic and now he wants to set Sean up with a great class for the future? It just seems weird that Bill is on the road this much before a bowl game in 12 days. i'm not saying its bad and I'd do the same for my kids and I wonder if that is what is pushing him out on the road lately?!
