I realize TCU targeted him for shutdown, yet others have tried that and he'd have a bunch of assists. I noticed late in the 1st half he limped to a timeout. He took a rough tumble on his hip the last game vs. BU and I wonder if that is causing him some pain/stiffness. It may be my imagination but today, especially 2nd half, he just was not the same Dean we've seen since conference play in the 2nd half. Just curious, anyone hear of a non-disclosed injury?
Another explanation might be that he looked "emotionally" distressed which was duly-noted by Stan and Wyatt on air. Maybe the very physical game got into his head and affected his game. Hopefully it's nothing but a hiccup, that he tears it up tomorrow and thru-out the Big Dance.
