wally was the only one that piped up about a possibility in a change in coaching after next year
I love Snyder as much as every other KSU fan. But let's be honest, his inability to fire assistants is leading to 2004 & 2005 all over again. Hayes is the exact same as Elliott & I can't say that there is really anyone on this team (offense & defense) that has improved this year.
KSU only won the game against ISU because they completely shit the bed in the last 5 minutes. Now, KSU made the plays that ISU didn't, but again ISU gave that game to KSU. Same as the wvu game. How different would fans think if KSU had lost those games and ended the season 4-8?
We all love Snyder for what he accomplished and sustained at KSU, but really look at the situation. KSU is stuck in neutral with Snyder and this staff. They don't recruit well at all and really struggle to win 3 conference games in the worst conference. Snyder wanted to calm the waters, and he's done that as long as he steps away now, or next year with a successor in place.
There is a very real chance that KSU could only win 5 games next year (just like 2005). Would you consider that calming the waters?
