In looking up some things on Jayden Williams I looked at the top recruits in Iowa and how ISU was faring with their own in-state recruits. It is often posted on here that they seem to (and do) get some Kansas kids we want. But this year their highest rated in-state recruit is currently Jim Bonifas who is rated #13 by ESPN and #17 by 247 in the state. Jayden Williams is rated #12 by ESPN and #15 by 247.
Of course Rubley is rated on both sites as a state of Iowa recruit since he transfered there this year (even though he was ruled ineligible
). He is rated #1 in the state by ESPN and #3 by 247.
Iowa University is killing it on the recruiting trail both in-state as well as overall, but ISU.......not so much.
I think as time goes on Klieman and crew will kick the stuffing out of ISU in recruiting. Time will tell as it always does.
