It doesn't take much to ignite the fan base

I should preface this entire post by saying I'm not a Bruce supporter and would still like to see him go sometime in the very near future, almost regardless of what happens the rest of this season.

That said, this past couple weeks is evidence that this fan base is easy to gain support from.

Polls indicate that 90% of this board would like to see Bruce gone, yet there is still overwhelming support for this team as a whole and what they can do this season still. Obviously there are a few people who will cheer for losses just to make Bruce look more likely to get fired, but considering where we were just a few short weeks ago collectively, it's amazing how resilient this fan base is.

It's essentially proof that all it will take is a few good games to get this program right back where it was as far as fan support is concerned, and that winning will negate all of Bruce's oddities.

It's the inconsistency that bites at people the most, but just continue to win, and all of that bad basketball gets easier to stomach in between the wins.

If we're going to have him another year, which looks more and more likely, I think it's fairly safe to say he's got the ability to determine how this fan base looks at him next season based on how he handles himself after the losses and how many wins he's able to string together.

The fan support will be there if he's able to get just enough wins, and minimize the BS after the losses.
