I mean, if the temporary AD can't lure in someone dramatically better, why throw away 3-4 years on a bad candidate? Take a (most likely) hit next year and get a better candidate with a full time AD. Sure, there are good coaches out there now, but would any go to K-State, especially with the AD spot in limbo.
