It's no coincidence that everyone took notice after the "moral victory" against KU in the Big 12 tournament. When we look back at this run, and potentially what is accomplished next year, that game...that loss...may end up being the defining turning point for this program.
It was in that game, that moment, where this team flipped the switch and became what they were always meant to be. They were meant to be an intense, persistent, scrappy bunch of guys who did whatever it took to win, regardless of who was on the court.
It felt like that was the moment they knew they could play with anyone.
So, no matter what happens from this point forward, that's the game I'll point to and say, "That's when we became Kansas State."
